“Kane Builders did a wonderful job on our three-season porch addition. My husband is a carpenter, and did not want to do the whole job himself, but wanted it done right. Kane Builders did the job the way he would have done it himself, with no short-cuts or sloppy workmanship. Details, like the carefully placed cedar shake accents, the hand-built cornices, and the bead-board overhangs are perfect examples of the pride in the workmanship of the builder. The details also really make the structure stand out.
As homeowners, we have had occasion to hire a few companies to do jobs at our house, some of them great, and some less great. Having Sean Kane come to work at our site was a pleasure, as he is a friendly, hardworking person. Unlike many contractors, Sean started the job and worked on it until it was finished. We felt comfortable with giving him a key. He was respectful of our home, and left a neat site when he was done. Our new addition is the envy of the neighborhood. We are very happy with our special porch, and look forward to spending many years enjoying it.”
We had a great experience working with Sean and Kane Builders. This is the first time we’ve ever worked with a builder and Sean was great guiding us through the process. We are happy to talk about the two major projects that Kane Builders has completed for us over the past three years. Our first project involved a new deck and a three season porch under the sunroom. Also, they put new pavers under the deck and out to complete a new patio. Under the deck they also put a ceiling so we’d have a sheltered outdoor space. The second project was a major one. All our windows had to be replaced throughout the entire house. Since we had a stucco home, they tore off all the stucco and replaced it with hardy board. It was a big project, but we’re really happy with how it turned out. This project included a lot of different crews. Working with Sean and his crew was a great experience with both projects. They were very professional and answered all questions as they completed the projects. The window and stucco replacement was a long process with different crews in and out of the house. They did a great job for us, and we’d hire them again for future projects. We’re very happy how everything turned out. We highly recommend Kane Builders.
